Willow Pond Lodge and Lake House on Whidbey Island near Seattle are exceptional private residences with all the amenities you would expect for your next family vacation or corporate retreat. Learn about rates/pricing and policies for our Whidbey Island rental properties.

Current Rates

The Lodge and the Lake House rental properties near Seattle can be rented either individually or together. The rates for each house are as follows:

High Season (June 15 - Sept. 15)

The Lodge

  • The Lodge may be rented on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday.
  • The weekly rate is $5000.
  • A nightly rate of $1000 per night is available with a minimum of three nights.

The Lake House and Conference Center

  • During the high season the Lake House is only rented on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday.
  • The weekly rate is $4000.
  • The Barn/Conference Center may be used by the Lake House's overnight guests for meetings with no extra charge (limit 18 people).
  • There is an additional event fee for use of the conference center for functions involving more than the overnight guests.
  • Events, meetings, and receptions may have a maximum of 80 attendees.
  • The Barn Conference Facility is not rented separately from the Lake House during high season.

Regular Season (Sept 16 - June 14)


The following rates apply:

  • $1000 per night. There is minimum of two nights.
  • Weekly rate is $5000 for 7 nights (Sat. to Sat. not allowed). Weeks involving a holiday may be higher.

Lake House and Conference Center

The following rates apply:

  • $700 per night Monday-Thursday, $850 per night Friday- Sunday, and for holiday nights. There is minimum of two nights.
  • Weekly rate is $3500 for 7 nights (Sat. to Sat. not allowed). Weeks involving a holiday may be higher.

Conference Center

The conference center is also available for day use rentals for meetings and conferences during non-summer midweek (Mon.- Thurs.) The cost is $500 to $1000 depending on the size of the group.

Note: A WA State sales tax and Island County Lodging tax of 10.7% is added to all rental fees.


The Lodge vacation rental property has an overnight limit of 13 people. The Lake House has a limit of 18. Renters must be at least 25 years old and present during the full rental period. All bed linens, towels, kitchen equipment and dining supplies are included in the rental fee. No smoking is allowed inside the facilities. A signed rental agreement and hold harmless agreement are required to complete the rental process. Unfortunately we do not allow wedding ceremonies or wedding receptions on the premises. Renters must disclose the purpose of their rental and the number of attending guests (day visitors and overnight guests).


To make a reservation, please first fill out the inquiry form on the web site under the "Contact Us" button or call us at 206-283-0746 (between 8 AM and 9 PM PST). We want to know about your rental needs and we can check on availability for your rental dates. Rental forms will be e-mailed to you to complete and return. Reservations are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.


Payment of rental fees may be made in the form of checks as well as credit cards via Paypal. Please notify us at the time of booking if you intend to pay by credit card. A payment of 50% of the total rental fee is due at time of booking in order to hold the reservation. The remaining 50% of the rental fee (plus 10.4% sales tax) is due 30 days prior to the rental period. For example, for a rental fee of $3000, $1500 is due at the time of making a reservation. The remaining $1500 (plus $312 in sales tax) is due 30 days prior to your arrival. If your rental date is less than 30 days after making the booking, then the total rental fee and the damage deposit are due immediately. Please note the following paragraph about damage and loss deposit.

Damage /Loss Deposits

A damage/loss deposit of $1500 is required ($3000 if renting both houses) in addition to the rental fee. This is to cover any property damage or loss. The security deposit is fully refunded if there is no loss or damage to property. Please note that the damage/loss deposits must be paid by a check which will be deposited. It is due 30 days prior to arrival. Credit card payments for damage/loss deposits are not accepted.


There will be no refund of any collected reservation deposits or rental fees unless the canceled rental period can be rebooked in which case a 10% service fee is charged.


Willow Pond Lodge and Lake House are located on high bank bluffs with ponds and a small lake on the property. These rental properties are not suitable for unsupervised children. Renters accept all responsibility for the safety of their children, and agree not to hold owners or staff of Willow Pond Lodge liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or issues incurred in relation with use of facilities. All renters are required to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement prior to rental. Renter is responsible for ensuring that signed forms are received by owners prior to rental commencement.


Rental period begins at 4 PM and ends at 10 AM. This allows time for the Willow Pond staff to prepare the house for the next rental. A $75 per hour overtime charge will be deducted from security deposit in case of a late check-out. Please contact our onsite manager a week prior to your arrival to coordinate your check-in time. Upon arrival, a walk through of the house with explanations and details about the facilities will take place. The condition of the house prior to the rental will be noted. A similar process will happen upon check-out to confirm the condition of the property.

Visitation Appointments

We would be happy to schedule an appointment for you to visit our Whidbey Island rental properties to see them firsthand. Please contact us via phone or e-mail so we can coordinate a date and time when the houses are not occupied. We purposely do not post the addresses for our properties on the web site in order to discourage drop-in visitors or drive-by viewings. This is to maintain privacy and tranquility for our renters. We appreciate your cooperation.


The Willow Pond staff is responsible for washing the bed linens and towels but upon departure the house should be returned in the same condition in which it was rented. A cleaning fee of $150 will be charged if facilities are not left in a satisfactory condition.
